We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 5th Meeting on Cognition and Musical Arts (ENCAM 5), which will take place from May 27 to May 30, 2026, at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), São Cristóvão (SE), Brazil, in a hybrid format.

ENCAM 5 is themed “Musical Cognition, Human Development, and Learning.” The event is conceived as a forum dedicated to research in musical cognition that investigates musical practices related to human development and learning processes, bringing together researchers, faculty members, students, and professionals interested in the interfaces between music, cognition, development, and education.

Paper submission period: February 9 to March 9, 2026

Submissions are accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, in accordance with the guidelines provided in the call.
